How To Make Dragon Roll (Recipe)

Make dragon roll at home with crunchy shrimp tempura wrapped in nori and rice covered with a layer of sliced avocado. Drizzle with spicy mayo!

Ingredients:

1 Japanese cucumber
2 avocados
2 nori sheets, cut in half crosswise
About 2 cups prepared sushi rice (Recipe: http://bit.ly/SushiRiceRecipe)
⅛ cup (20 oz) Tobiko

For Toppings

Black sesame seeds

Vinegar water for dipping hands (Tezu)

¼ cup water
2 tsp. rice vinegar

    might i suggest modifying your bamboo sushi mat? put a piece of EVA foam inside the ziplock back next to the bamboo sticks and close the bag, use the mat with the eva foam facing toward the sushi, this will hide any markings made by the sticks and the sushi roll will look better, might wanna try it

    Interesting there’s no eel because when I order dragon roll it comes with eel. To me this looks like a delicious avocado roll

    The way the rice was cooked was pitiful to say the least. It's possible to cook the rice on the hob without leaving a bunch of brown crust on the bottom. The salmon also looks really really depressing.

    im not very sure if the rice turned out great, its very difficult to get good sushi rice, and their way of doing it looks just "ehh", also they used too much nori
